The product must be capable of addressing and meeting the consumer’s needs. Identifying potential consumers in the market is a component of marketing the product.

Price relates to your product and service price plan and how it will affect your consumers. It would help if you determined how much your consumers are willing to pay and how much you need to mark up to meet overheads, profit margins, payment methods, and other expenses. To attract consumers and preserve your competitive edge, you may also examine the possibilities of discounts and seasonal pricing, subscription and membership programs, or email marketing promotions and offers.

Because businesses that sell services frequently require clients to come to them, location is significant. “Place” also refers to where and when a corporation posts its advertisements. Other location-based criteria that businesses consider are:

  • What their usual customer schedules are?
  • Whether clients can walk or drive to the company?
  • Where the firm advertises on the Internet?
  • Where competitors’ companies are located?
