WhatsApp is working on several new features to enhance the user experience. Users may record and publish voice notes as status WhatsApp new features up to 30 seconds of audio notes as WhatsApp status. Additionally, voice note status updates will have the same privacy choices as conventional status updates.

Users can choose who to hide the voice note status from and who may listen to it. The procedure for sending audio notes as messages would be the same as sending a regular status update on WhatsApp.
